Menus change with the seasons at Eat and Cook, known for carving out a well-deserved space of contemporary Malaysian cuisine in our local dining scene. Dishes here shine the spotlight on homegrown flavours with its Eat and Cook Journey Menu showcasing pen shell scallops with raja ulam, slipper lobster paired with banana leaf foam, aged duck with Cameron Highlands asparagus, and a teh tarik ice cream to finish.
Its beverage is menu is equally impressive, bringing together a portfolio of new and old world wines, tuak by Endu Borneo, craft beer, and sake.

Base Pasta Bar & Bistro
Offering decadent savoury plates and innovative pasta dishes, Base Pasta Bar & Bistro is helmed by Jay, formerly of Back Alley Pasta. Expect hand rolled-noodles to take the form of sourdough garganelli with pork ragout, a bed of peppercorn pappardelle topped with Kurobuta pork chops and yuzu kosho tare, bucatini with fermented lemon butter and pesto diavola, and more.

Afloat Coffee Roaster
Both a café and micro-roastery, Afloat Coffee Roaster is best known for categorising its coffees by macro, micro, or unique while delving into its profile and origin for a truly immersive coffee-drinking experience. You’ll find signature creations here like brewed coffee and espresso infused with Irish whiskey, pu-erh tea infused milk combined with espresso, and an assortment of café staples and pastries.

Pentos & Basil
An intimate Italian eatery located a stone’s throw away from Pavillion Bukit Jalil, Pentos & Basil is home to some of the most comforting pasta dishes in the Klang Valley. While bread courses may seem like a given, this spots’ is not to be missed, serving kombu or truffle butter slathered on ciabatta.
For starters, expect heirloom tomato bruschetta or Spanish-style sea prawns before more substantial dishes of egg yolk carbonara, gorgonzola risotto, homemade gnocchi, squid ink pasta, and inventive creations like gochujang salmon pasta or Mexican-inspired pasta with green tomato sauce and homemade salsa verde.

A cornerstone of Bukit Jalil’s dining scene, its menu is a collection of dishes crafted with Japanese influences from nasi lemak plated with ebi sambal and chicken karaage to sizzling claypot ochazuke. You can also expect its signature nori tacos that replace the usual tortillas with seaweed, chilli pasta with onion jam and anchovies, creamy ponzu ramen, sesame crusted tuna tataki, and an assortment of desserts.

If you’re looking for a spot with one-of-a-kind beverages, look no further than Togo. The cosy café is equipped with a lineup of drinks that is bound to impress. A self described “nano roaster” Seafarer Coffee Roasters is all about fostering simpler and accessible ways of drinking coffee. Its ethos is evident in its drip bags filled with specialty coffee grounds and its freshly roasted varieties and showcase beans from across the globe.
