The brainchild of Jay, formerly of Back Alley Pasta, Base Pasta Bar & Bistro offers decadent savoury plates, from grilled tomato salad and deep fried catfish to quinoa arancini. Also on the menu are, of course, inventive pasta dishes including Kurobuta pork chops and pepper pappardelle, bucatini drenched in fermented lemon butter, and pork ragu with sourdough garganelli.
