Gooddam

Intimate and ambient contemporary Italian eatery Gooddam has curated a Valentine’s Day dinner menu that will be available on February 14 and 15. Defined by warmth and comfort, its menu will spotlight smoked mascarpone, brown butter ice cream, and an elusive festive dessert. The restaurant’s beloved mainstay, aged duck with bagnet vert and white fungus, will also be served, with the option to upgrade to Australian wagyu sirloin, guaranteed to impress your date. 

Fuego at Troika Sky Dining

Cosmopolitan romance is the underlying theme of Fuego’s Valentine’s Day dining experience. With panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur, you can watch the sun set behind the city’s skyline over flutes of champagne and vibrant sharing plates. Exclusive to February 14, its menu will see pickled seaweed guacamole, pulled duck tacos, and grilled lamb racks brightened by mint chimichurri and jalapeño. Designed to be shared and not limited to two pax, Fuego would make the perfect setting for conventional or offbeat celebrations.

Sabayon is drawing inspiration from the celestial this Valentine’s Day. With a view of the city skyline and an option to dine al fresco under the stars, guests can choose between five or six courses accompanied by a bottle of champagne. The restaurant’s curated menu will feature braised Wagyu rib with kizami wasabi and carrot cardamom puree, lobster accompanied by scallop mousse and spiced velouté, and chocolate foam topped with vanilla ice cream. 

Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur

Arthur’s Bar and Grill will be hosting its Valentine’s Day celebration on February 14 with an opulent five course dining experience. Begin your meal with a welcome mocktail followed by truffle cauliflower Velouté and arugula Caesar salad with quail egg and caviar. Diners will have a choice between rosemary-crumbed lamb rack or black cod for the main course and finish the meal with raspberry tiramisu and chocolate profiteroles. 

InterContinental Kuala Lumpur

Serena Brasserie is catering to lovebirds on February 14 with a five course menu featuring cured beetroot soup with coffee foam, Asian marinated sea prawn with white tomato carpaccio, and chilled Angus rib eye with fondant potatoes. Tatsu, the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, will celebrate the occasion with two set menus, including a bottle of wine or a round of house pours and heart-shaped chocolate pralines.

Ignis KL

Paired with a curated spirit selection or bottle of Moet Chandon, Ignis KL’s six course dinner menu proves an appreciation of love in all its forms. Its menu stays true to the restaurant’s core of eclectic fusion, melding Asian accords with modern European techniques. No Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) Day dinner would be complete without its mud crab cold capellini swimming in asam pedas broth, Hokkaido scallop with smoked ricotta and horseradish, or citrus cured snapper drizzled in curry oil. 

Locus

Locus has curated a Valentine’s Day menu available exclusively from February 14 to 17. Specialising in course menus and inviting dining experiences, Locus’ seasonal menu includes pumpkin gnocchi with cured duck and shiitake mushrooms, seafood tomato assam bisque, and gula apong chicken with chestnut ragout.

Providing respite in the centre of ever-bustling Chinatown, Small Shifting Space is a cosy natural wine bar offering casual global cuisine plates. Its expansive collection of wines sourced from across the globe will be paired with tomato tarts exclusive to Valentine’s Day. Characterised by its welcoming and intimate atmosphere, Small Shifting Space would make an ideal setting for a romantic date or an evening of lively conversation enriched by sips of wine.

Yellow Fin Horse

Yellow Fin Horse’s Valentine’s Day menu proves a testament to romance. Departing from Chef Jun Wong’s signature robust and earthy dishes, this seasonal menu brings playfulness and complexity together. Expect yellowtail ceviche swimming in coconut milk and brightened by passionfruit vinaigrette, beurre blanc fedelini topped with uni, garum glazed A5 wagyu with romesco sauce, and more.

The restaurant has also collaborated with Chocolate Concierge to create an exclusive Valentine’s Day gift featuring provincially inspired buah keluak truffle. 

Chipta 11a

Chipta 11a’s Valentine’s Day menu proves a showcase of contemporary Japanese cuisine. The restaurant’s seafood-forward menu will feature idli with tuna tartare, sea bream sashimi, uni with asam jawa rice, and two sweet courses. Guests can choose between aged Australian wagyu, aged duck, or lobster for their main course. 

Osteria Gamberoni

Known for fresh pasta and sustainable sourcing, Osteria Gamberoni’s ode to the holiday is steeped in Italian tradition. A five course menu will be available exclusively on February 14. Expect potato Velouté with a squid ink reduction, arborio rice fortified by beetroot, saffron, and tiger prawns, and stewed beef cheek with white radish puree. 

Li Restaurant

Celebrate this Valentine’s Day at neighbourhood favourite, Li Restaurant. Infusing contemporary local cuisine with global influences, its menu will house duck croquettes, seared duck breast paired with roasted zucchini salad, and chocolate mousse. 

The Orchid Conservatory, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Surround yourself with the defining constituent of Valentine’s Day— flowers. Steeped in elegance, The Orchid Conservatory invites guests to indulge in   a decadent five course meal complemented by a glass of bubbly. Encased in a glass atrium, its interior is strewn with seasonal orchids and lined with a blossoming hanging garden, this restaurant is romance physicalised. 

Nobu Kuala Lumpur

Nobu Kuala Lumpur has curated a six course Valentine’s Day omakase experience that will be available from February 13 to 18. Alongside the restaurant’s signature duck trio, its menu will feature mekajiki toro (swordfish belly) accompanied by Maui onion salsa, and lobster bathed in dashi ponzu butter sauce. The sweet course proves its crown jewel, with orange mousse and lychee sorbet shaped into a swan encasing a rose jam core. 

Phil’s Pizza

There’s no better way to celebrate Galentine’s Day than with a cheesy love story and even cheesier pizza. Chinatown pizza parlour, Phil’s Pizza, will be hosting a free screening of The Notebook, complete with its limited-edition heart-shaped pizza pies. If you’re looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a laidback girls night, visit REXKL on February 14. 

Monti

Blending heritage and cosmopolitan charm, 1-Altitude Melaka’s Italian restaurant will deliver a dining experience imbued with romance. From February 9 to 14, Monti will offer house-made cappelletti with burnt butter sage and parmesan cream, cod à la plancha, sous vide short ribs layered with Valrhona dark chocolate and beef jus.

Atas will be capturing the essence of the most romantic day of the year with its opulent dinner menu. Foie gras mille feuilles, silver pomfret doused in clam beurre blanc, and dark chocolate tarts will grace dinner tables only on February 14. Not limited to any number of pax, you’ll be able to celebrate a Galentine’s Day as lavish as any traditional night out. 

The Chow Kit Kitchen & Bar

The Chow Kit Kitchen & Bar will celebrate the holiday with a four course menu of poached tiger prawns with chargrilled water bamboo shoots, chilli crab pasta, and an option of charcoal-grilled chicken or slow-cooked beef ribs.

Casual fine dining haunt, Carbon, will be paying tribute to romance with its Valentine’s Day menu. Housing Miyagi bay oysters with cucumber relish, New Zealand halibut on a bed of barley, and flower crab in a shellfish bisque, the meal will conclude with a chocolate crémeux dessert and petite fours.
