Tis’ the season of heart-shaped chocolate
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, yet another season of gifting is upon us. If you’re lucky enough to be romantically involved with someone, you’re probably panicking over what to gift them. When in doubt, turn to gastronomy.
The unofficial holiday is defined by love, of course, but it is also the time of year for the excessive consumption of chocolate, anything heart-shaped, or a combination of the two. Almost any individual will appreciate edible gifts, but if your significant other happens to be a bona fide foodie, the typical chocolate bouquet or edible arrangement might not cut it.
While our list includes classic boxes of chocolate for those who prefer sticking to tradition, we’ve also taken practicality and thoughtfulness into consideration. From handcrafted coffee mugs to artfully decorated tiffin carriers, these entries should ease your upcoming shopping spree.

Any number of cocktails can be made using this bittersweet spirit, but this writer recommends including it in a classic negroni.
