Monroe

Monroe has recently launched a new bubbly brunch menu, offering five dishes and a bottle of Tuff Nutt Bianco d’Alessano by Delinquente Wine Co. to share. While the menu is meant for two, the spread can easily feed three or four.

Diners are encouraged to pick two brunch plates, two snacks, and finish the meal off with a dessert. Selections include steak and eggs, breakfast brioche and an everything omelette, though those who favour sweet over savoury should opt for the house pancakes and the sweet brioche French toast. Instead of bubbly, diners can instead opt for free-flow coffee and iced cookers.

Birch

Birch’s classic brunch menu features a selection of breakfast classics, from its signature Birch Benedict and big breakfast to this writer’s personal favourite, the red pepper shakshuka with crispy kale and chickpeas. The team suggests paring the Birch Benedict, which sees pulled chicken coated in barbecue sauce, with a glass of Torresella prosecco, which has a creamy and fruity flavour profile.
