This Singapore-based coffee company is one of Hong Kong’s newest coffee shops, billing itself as a “tech-enabled” coffee chain. It’s not a surprise that it’s joining in the Squid Game craze to further its footprint in Hong Kong. This Halloween, Flash Coffee is handing out free coffee to participants who successfully complete the Flash honeycomb challenge.

Joining is easy, all you have to do is get the Flash Coffee app, go to “Flash Game" and click on “Honeycomb”. After completing the payment, you can pick up the candy at the Sheung Wan or Mong Kok store.

Hea Ice Cream is the city’s newest vegan ice cream shop. This Halloween, they are also doing the #HeaSquid Game campaign where you will get the chance to win a prize. To join, just pay an extra HK$5 in addition to purchasing any ice cream to get the Dalgona candy. In order to win, you need to successfully pick out the shape from the candy.

In addition to the game, the shop is also decorated with the Squid Game playground and two foam boards of the guards for photo taking. In time for Halloween, the staff are also cosplaying as the guards and if you come in with a Halloween costume, you can enjoy 10 per cent off from any purchase. If you come with the iconic red jumpsuit and black mask costume, you can get free ice cream.

Squid Game takes over Check-In Taipei. The Taiwanese restaurant is launching two new dishes that have a Korean twist and are inspired by the hit survival show. The Player’s Taiwanese Bento comes in the exact same golden bento box given to the players in Squid Game. It includes popular Korean side dishes such as ojingeo bokkeum (spicy dried squid) and kongjang (soy braised black beans) and the familiar Taiwanese lu rou sauce.

Meanwhile, the restaurant also gave their signature Taiwanese danbing (egg crepes) a Korean twist by adding the same ingredients that you’d find in a kimbap (Korean rice rolls) such as carrot, cucumber and yellow pickles. To top it off, it comes with a Kimchi sweet sauce for you to dip in.

Besides the two dishes, Check-In Taipei has also decorated the shop front with an eye-catching design that most people are familiar with by now—the infamous circle, triangle and square sign that you’d see in Squid Game.

At SN Kitchen, you don’t need to play a game to enjoy Squid Game-inspired sweets. This independent online bakery is offering the recipe to their limited edition Halloween chocolate bread inspired by the guards wearing red jumpsuits and black masks with the three iconic shapes: circle, square and triangle.

Due to limited capacity, the independent shop isn’t able to handle orders at the moment but you’ll still be able to make use of their recipes to recreate your own version.
