Siargao Food and Wine Festival 2026 runs from August 26 to 31, bringing together chefs, farmers and bartenders for six days of dinners, workshops and beachside feasts across the island
Off the northeastern coast of Mindanao, Siargao is an island known primarily for its world-class surf—but over the past couple of years, its food and beverage scene has become another key driver of tourism, rivalling more established, commercialised Philippine beach destinations.
At the heart of its success are two forces that seem, on the surface, diametrically opposed—but, in practice, reinforce one another to propel the industry in a way that’s both dynamic and deliberate: an influx of chefs and bartenders from around the world who have made Siargao home, and an enduring commitment, shared by locals and newcomers alike, to environmental sustainability and cultural responsibility.
Siargao Food and Wine Festival, also known as Ani Sang Siargao (Harvest of Siargao), captures that sentiment across a colourful series of events from August 26 to 31, 2026. “This festival is a celebration of community, passion and the vibrant culinary spirit of our island,” shares chef Andrew “Dre” Malarky, festival director. “We can’t wait to welcome guests [and] collaborate with extraordinary chefs.”

Above Siargao Food and Wine Festival returns for its sophomore edition, with six days of collaborations, workshops, coffee tastings, and more—even a pizza-eating competition
The festival kicks off with the Ani Sang Siargao opening celebration at Malarky’s very own restaurant, Wild Siargao, joined by chefs Jarrod Moore of Nine Yards and Morris Danzen of CMD Supper Club, both of Melbourne, and Hannah Sanchez of Siargao’s Fin & Fin Beach Shack. Espoir School of Life enlivens the affair with a tinikling performance, alongside speciality cocktails by Manu.
In the five days that follow, Siargao Food and Wine Festival continues to take shape across a range of exciting events, from a tasting menu highlighting Siargao’s bountiful seafood to a coconut-themed dinner and, for those up to it, a pizza-making class followed promptly by a pizza-eating contest. Guests will venture beyond the four walls of a restaurant: think coffee roasters, wet markets, beachside feasts and a boodle fight on Mam-on Island by local favourite Cev, joined by Hapag, a Tatler Best 20 restaurant, and its sister concept, Ayà, plus cocktails by Last Chance.

Workshops and panel discussions are also central to the festival. Expect talks on processing, fermentation and zero-waste practices by grassroots NGO Lokal Lab, and the chance to learn directly from farmers about Siargao’s land and food culture.
“This isn’t just about putting on a great dinner—it’s about opening our home,” Malarky adds. “The festival is our love letter to Siargao, and we can’t wait to pull up a chair for everyone to taste what we’ve been building.”
