1. Chef Chele’s Kitchen
Chef Chele and Teri Gonzalez’s Basque burnt cheesecakes are often regarded as the best for a good reason. For Mother’s Day, Chef Chele’s Kitchen has launched an exclusive new creation: the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, available in 6.5 and 8.5 inches.

2. Kumori
Kumori’s layered cakes always promise heaps of texture, and their special Mother’s Day cake is no exception. Made with peach-infused chiffon, custard flan, almond sponge, caramel crumble, and peach cream, the Peaches and Cream cake sings with the flavours of summer and is great for those who want textural contrast with their desserts.
3. Butterboy Bakehouse
Butterboy Bakehouse pulls out all the stops for our dear mums with a nine-piece pastry box, available from May 7 to 26. The special box is a thoughtful mix of new treats and Butterboy signatures: leche flan wheel, pain au chocolate, canelé, spinach and sausage quiche, banana madeleine, strawberry madeleines, blueberry and cream cruffin, and the classic croissant.

4. Uniqo Pâtisserie (Lipa, Batangas)
By now, tales of Ijo Bakery’s exceptional croissants and viennoiserie have inspired many road trips south to Lipa. But did you know that pastry chef and owner Jio Katigbak has also opened up a sister bakeshop just a few metres down? For Mother’s Day, Uniqo Pâtisserie puts out a special box set comprising a lemon tart, strawberry tart, vanilla choux, and mango mousse.

5. Old Boy Bakery
Though based in Bataan, Anton Miranda brings his Old Boy Bakery goodies to Power Plant Mall. Now, they can be found at Baker’s Dozen every weekend, with new treats to look forward to monthly. For May, Miranda presents a light and fluffy coconut chiffon cake soaked in coconut milk and filled with coconut cream custard. The cake is then covered in delicious marshmallow frosting and finished with grated fresh coconuts. The coconut cake will be decorated with fresh flowers this weekend, perfect for Mother’s Day gifting.
6. Pia Fine Chocolate
While it’s true that you never quite know what you’ll get with a box of chocolates, you can rest assured that Pia Fine Chocolates never fails to deliver quality, decadent treats. Their Mother’s Day box is filled with a whopping 32 pieces to savour, including bonbons, truffles, milk, and white caramel chocolates.

7. Bru Coffee Bar, Conrad Manila

Conrad Manila celebrates Mother’s Day with a range of delicious cakes and pastries from Bru Coffee Bar, available from May 1 to 12. Those who love Japanese desserts will surely enjoy The Manila Baker’s Mother’s Day cake, available for the month of May. The matcha black sesame crumble cake boasts layers of matcha chiffon and black sesame salted cream cheese, all enveloped in matcha buttercream and topped with black sesame crumble.

14. Auro Chocolate
This Mother’s Day special has more than meets the eye. Opening the box reveals a bright red heart made with Auro Chocolate 64 per cent dark chocolate and a whimsical wooden mallet—but once the heart is smashed, mum will soon discover it is filled with many more miniature heart-shaped surprises, including 55 per cent dark chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut cookies.
