Mother’s Day (May 14) is just days away and if you haven’t found the perfect gift for her, it’s time to get started.

The lavish five-course meal begins with savouries such as the beautifully smoked duck breast and sweet shrimp glazed in a pink tarragon tartare sauce. Mouth-watering bites are followed by crackling pork skin, creamy cauliflower custard, and tender black Angus beef striploin. Savouries are balanced with sweet creations including pandan-infused scone, rich chocolate hazelnut pudding and strawberry shortcake. Available on May 14.

This Mother’s Day, Chef’s Table at Capella Singapore is going all with its decadent afternoon tea selection. A plethora of sweet and savouries are available, among which are the smoked salmon roulade, comprising a butter tart filled with smoked salmon, cream cheese and avruga caviar; gorgeously grilled garlic-lemon Tiger prawns; and chrysanthemum profiteroles filled with a honey-whipped ganache and passion fruit pulp.

Pair these indulgent creations with a warm cup of tea from its extensive selection of Ronnefeldt tea—the white yin long is a slightly tarte cup with aromas of peach. Available from now until May 14.

There’s no better way to honour mum than with The Courtyard’s exclusive afternoon tea menu. Bring an appetite and dig into savouries like the roasted prime beef brioche, Norwegian smoked salmon tartlet and refreshing cucumber sandwiches. Then, indulge in sweets such as the zesty lemon mango meringue flower tart, floral rose madeleine and strawberry vanilla macaron.

Take your pick between the Hokkaido scallop croquette and scrambled eggs before indulging in smoked salmon gravlax, Irish sausage roll, and chicken and mushroom pie.
