We speak to the Ipoh native about his frequently visited haunts in Ipoh
Born and bred in Ipoh, Lee Choon Boon is no stranger to the town. Leading the team at Jeff’s Cellar at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, he spends most of his time within the resort. When it comes to deciding where to dine during a road trip or staycation to Ipoh, there is no better person to ask for street food recommendations.
During a recent visit to The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, we caught up with the well-natured chef, who shared five of his favourite street food spots for chicken rice, curry mee, Ipoh white coffee, and more! Read on to discover where he dines during his off days or prior to a busy service.
