From menu launches to restaurant collaborations and pop-ups, here is Hong Kong’s most compelling dining news
The air may be verging on oppressive, but Hong Kong’s dining scene is all about freshness. Restaurants and cafés are tightening menus for a sharper focus and clearer identity, or devising new experiences that speak to the season, the city and its essence.
Meanwhile, local mixologists join forces with regional talents to present a guest shift series that goes beyond the bar, and chefs stretch the limits of collaboration to present menus that question as much as they celebrate culinary traditions. All this bodes well for those planning to eat and drink out this week. And if you’ve yet to make plans, read on and be inspired.
