Tatler friends discovered a new way of tasting Louis XIII cognac with the launch of The Drop at the Tatler House
Once considered an alcoholic drink reserved for “older men”, cognac is gaining popularity amongst the new generation who have developed a palate for fine spirits. Rémy Martin recently launched Louis XIII The Drop, a collection of five luxurious 1cl mini bottles containing the same precious liquid. Designed to be enjoyed anytime and anywhere, each bottle can be customised with the imbiber’s choice of lanyard colour and initials.
The full collection (which reflects certain moods and mindset like loud, glow, bold, smooth and bright) was on full display at the Tatler House on April 17 and 18 for its exclusive launch in Singapore. Taking part in the festivities were our Tatler friends (and drinks connoisseurs) who discovered the new way of tasting Louis XIII cognac.

Welcoming the guests on the first night was Louis XIII senior private client director, Kristine Lim, who revealed that Tatler Singapore is the only exclusive distributor for The Drop in Singapore and these mini bottles are now available for purchase on TheTatlerBar.com.
Kickstarting the second night was Louis XIII prestige brand ambassador, Gabriel Hon, who shared how The Drop is the first cognac launched by the maison that is “under SG$1,000” and invited everyone to experience how modern drinkers enjoy Louis XIII cognac.
As the night went on, guests enjoyed delectable canapés prepared by catering company Gastrogig and freeflow Telmont champagne, and witnessed a captivating performance by dynamic dance duo, Scrach Marcs.
