Inside Tatler Malaysia and Johnnie Walker Blue Label's safari-themed dinner soirée for a group of 35 ladies at Akâr Dining

On June 15, Tatler Malaysia's Front & Female and Johnnie Walker Blue Label teamed up to present an exotic dinner party celebrating a group of young women who have carved their own paths in life, from startup founders and architectural designers to influencers and mum-preneurs. Akâr Dining, a restaurant specialising in modern Malaysian fare, was transformed into a safari-themed haven for this affair, complete with zebra stripes, leopard prints and vibrant floral decor.

Guests like Jasiminne Yip, Serena C, Chrystal Tan, and others turned up in their finest safari-themed getups, enjoying their Johnnie Walker Blue Label cocktails in flavours of Blue Old Fashioned (made with Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Dom Benedictine, aromatic bitters, and orange bitters) and Honey Yuzu Highball, a riveting combination of Blue Label, soda, and honey yuzu foam.

Dinner started on a high note as Tatler Malaysia's managing director Geraldine Beh greeted the guests and thanked Johnnie Walker Malaysia for its consistent support of the Front & Female Awards 2023 and other events by Tatler's Front & Female pillar.

The ladies then sat down to an immaculate meal presented by Akâr Dining founder and head chef Aidan Low and his team.
