Tatler Malaysia and Johnnie Walker Blue Label hosted an exclusive dinner party
Johnnie Walker Blue Label together with Tatler Malaysia recently hosted an intimate dinner at Sabayon, EQ Kuala Lumpur, in the presence of Ewan Gunn, the senior global Scotch whisky ambassador at Diageo, who also conducted a tasting session.
Guests were greeted with a beautiful set-up that was amplified by the surrounding bird's eye view of the the city centre skyline, that to the restaurant's location on the 51st floor.
The evening kicked off with a round of creatively crafted Johnnie Walker Blue Label cocktails, among them the Blue Hi Ball which is a mixture of the premium whisky, soju, and tonic water, garnished with a slice of apple. Guests enjoyed their drinks on the outdoor patio in the company of the dramatic KLCC view.

After a welcome speech by brand representative Chong Wai Keng, dinner began with a serving a plump Hokkaido scallop, followed by delicious foie gras, before a yuzu sorbet was presented as a palate cleanser.
Gunn then took to the floor to walk guests through the Johnnie Walker Blue Label tasting session.
After the enlightening tasting session, dinner continued, this time with a saxophonist providing the evening's entertainment. Below are some snapshots of some guests who got to enjoy the dinner and premium drinks that night.
