Guests at In The Mood For Food were able to select from a variety of fruits, herbs and spices to create their own gin and tonic pairing

Whimsically adorned with a garden of fragrant herbs, spices and dehydrated fruits, Bombay Sapphire’s garnish display tower was a popular station at Tatler Dining’s street food festival, In The Mood For Food. The interactive gin-and-tonic bar blossomed with live botanicals, which guests were able to handpick to craft personalised garnish pairings.

Guided by Bombay Sapphire’s bartenders, guests curated their drinks of choice by selecting a fruit, a herb, and a spice from the garnish display. The tower included aromatic spices and herbs such as star anise, pink peppercorn, rosemary and mint, as well as dehydrated slices of grapefruit and oranges.

The botanicals were paired with the world famous Bombay Sapphire or Bombay Bramble, a gin with flavours derived from a pure fruit infusion. A rigorous selection process is involved to craft these tantalising gins. For instance, to create the smooth, complex taste of Bombay Sapphire, 10 botanicals are vapour-infused and uniquely distilled. Enjoyed best with tonic, the gins should be poured over ice for a refreshing drink.
