From Baguio Craft Brewery to Turning Wheels in Cebu, here are seven brewpubs serving up craft pours every beer-lover should visit
Some days call for an ice-cold beer, whether at the end of a long week or smack in the middle of a scorching summer afternoon. Satiate the desire and take it up a couple of notches at these seven taprooms and breweries throughout the Philippines, serving up pints of their own brews, along with some tasty bites to munch on between every delightful sip.
1. El Deposito Brewery
Location: San Juan City
Kick back and knock back a pint or two at El Depisito Brewery, a charming hangout tucked away in the streets of San Juan. Though the small-batch brewery has yet to fire up its own kitchen, patrons can easily order bites from all-day breakfast outlet Flossom Kitchen + Cafe and Oista oyster bar.

2. Elias Wicked Ales & Spirits
Location: Quezon City
Find your “hoppy place” at the solar-powered Elias Wicked Ales & Spirits taproom, home to an impressive array of ciders, beers, and much-needed bar chow. With nearly thirty brews to choose from, there’s something in store for every beer and cider drinker.

3. Nipa Brew
Location: Makati City
Head to the Nipa Brew taproom to imbibe in craft beers from the eponymous brewery as you munch on jalapeño cheese sticks and Spam fries. Open Monday to Saturday, 10am until midnight, the brewhouse also hosts a couple of guest beers from other breweries—simply give them a ring to ask what they’ve got, or go in blind for a refreshing surprise.

4. The Perfect Pint
Locations: Molito Alabang, Muntinlupa City; Greenbelt 2, Makati City
Want to enjoy a sumptuous feast alongside pour after pour of craft beer? Look no further than The Perfect Pint. Indulgent dishes like oyster sisig, burgers, and beef salpicao await you—ideal accompaniments to the in-house collection of house-crafted beers.

5. Papa Bolo
Location: Tagaytay City
The newest kid on the brewery block, Papa Bolo boasts spectacular views of the Tagaytay countryside, innovative beers, and delicious food from Lampara chefs RJ Ramos and Alphonse Sotero. The Piña Niña, one of Papa Bolo’s starting six, is a must-try at the brewpub: an unadulterated celebration of juicy Tagaytay pineapples that will keep you coming back for more.
6. Baguio Craft Brewery
Location: Baguio City
If you ever find yourself in the City of Pines, Baguio Craft Brewery should be on your itinerary. Be it for a hefty Baltic porter, a funky kiwi and passion fruit ale, or a sample tray with a bit of everything, it’s sure to be a worthwhile excursion.

7. Turning Wheels
Location: Cebu City
Pop into Turning Wheels Brewery to discover just how exciting the world of craft beer can be. Complete with tacos, sausages, hamburgers, and more from Sal’s Kitchen next door, as well as fresh slices by Pizza Therapy every Monday, you’ll have no shortage of excuses for a second visit.
