Fat Belly Social Steakhouse

Steak lovers are in for a delicious treat when they visit this new restaurant, serving a bevy of mouth-watering starters, meaty mains for sharing and a well-curated wine list.

Order a glass of vino (they have a 70-strong wine list of old and new world gems here) to go with your appetisers. Must-tries here include the delicately grilled octopus served with chorizo and tripe, as well as sourdough stacked with uni and lardo glazed with beef fat for added depth.

The restaurant puts the spotlight on the lesser-known cuts of beef like Flat Iron and Zabuton. The latter is popular for its well-marbled flesh and rich and juicy flavour that shines when it’s grilled to perfection. It's even better when it's served with six different sauces and sides such as crusted mac & cheese and tomato salad. Book here.

The Feather Blade

If you’re on a meat streak this week, you’ll be glad to know that this steakhouse specialising in alternative cuts is back with a new outlet at Tanjong Pagar. Naturally, the signature Feather Blade steak seasoned with smoked salt remains the star of the show.

Apart from that, you also have the gyudon (Japanese beef bowl) with the option to top it with foie gras or scallops, and an array of sides such as potatoes fried in Wagyu beef fat; burratina accented with arugula, cherry tomatoes and truffle honey; and spinach enriched with parmigiano-reggiano cream and nutmeg.
