Hamadaya Soy Sauce Ice Cream at Inside Scoop
We’ve all heard of sweet-savoury salted caramel ice cream, but have you come across soy sauce ice cream? Tried and tested by the Tatler team, we can verify that the flavour isn’t as odd as it sounds. A collaboration between Japanese sauce brand Hamadaya and local ice cream purveyor Inside Scoop, the limited edition flavour is available until October 31, 2022.

Black Truffle and Comté Beignet at Hide Restaurant
The new 14-course menu at Hide features this black truffle beignet as one of its three starters. It bursts with rich Comté cheese and is served alongside the ikura and smoked trout tartlet as well as the crispy bite of tuna and nori. Honourable mention goes to the black truffle and uni dadinho, modelled after the crunchy Brazilian snack made from tapioca granules.
