Our Tatler friends savoured a first dibs luncheon at InterContinental Singapore’s newest dining concept
InterContinental Singapore has opened a new Italian restaurant, Luce, helmed by Italian chef de cuisine Davide Giacomelli. Ahead of its official opening on May 20, Luce gave our Tatler friends a peek of the new dining concept with a curated four-course lunch menu.

After being welcomed by general manager Andreas Kraemer and Giacomelli himself, who shared about his culinary philosophy of putting fresh and local ingredients in the spotlight, the luncheon began on a high with welcome cocktails.
These were enough to whet our Tatler friends’ appetite before they were served a sumptuous four-course menu of Italian classics, which included the decadent bruschetta with Parma ham, lobster risotto crowned with juicy Boston lobster, and pan-fried Atlantic cod. Throughout the meal, the dishes were paired with unlimited pours of Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene Brut, which enhanced the dishes with its crisp and floral notes, and Chateau Sainte Beatrice Cuvee Des Princes, which brightened the meal with its vibrant and refreshing characters.
