Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur has invited Chef Rajiv Vatsyayan of The Oberoi in New Delhi to whip up a special Deepavali meal. Tandoori champein, a dish of spiced lamb chops cooked in a tandoor oven, and meen moilee, an earthy fish dish served with a coconut milk-based curry are just two of his signature dishes to savour. Available for both lunch and dinner at Mosaic, the spread will be served from October 20-24.

A buffet dinner and an afternoon tea will be served at Makan Kitchen at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur to usher in this year’s Festival of Lights.

The Colours of Diwali High Tea brings a savoury twist to the traditional dessert-laden spread, offering dishes such as mutton saag, chicken varuval and fish jalfrezi.
