What better way to keep cool in Singapore’s hot and humid weather than with ice cream. Good news ice cream lovers, Coolhaus from California has finally landed on our shores. Founded by Natasha Case and Freya Estreller in 2009, the cult ice cream brand has grown from a simple ice cream truck at the Coachella Valley Music Festival into a fleet of trucks and scoop shops across the US.
Continuing its expansion into other markers, six signature flavours are now available at major grocery stores across the island. Those with a penchant for chocolate will love the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which is best described as 100 per cent chocolatey goodness in one bite; and the Molten Chocolate, velvety chocolate ice cream studded with chocolate cake bites and swirls of decadent chocolate fudge.

For something more adventurous, the Peanut Butter 'N Fudge is the perfect balance of chocolatey and nutty, while the Mint Chocolate Chip refreshes the palate with its fresh mint taste.
More than its creamy and indulgent ice creams, Coolhaus is also known for its sustainability mission. Its ice creams use Perfect Day animal-free dairy, which is made from a whey protein called microflora (not from cows) to ensure that its production emits 97 per cent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than your regular dairy protein. Moreover, it is also lactose-free, cholesterol-free and hormone- and antibiotic-free.
Coolhaus is available at Redmart, Cold Storage, Giant Hypermarket, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Finest and selected FairPrice Supermarket stores across the island.
