Nestled within the lush Dempsey area, it will feature 14 never-before-seen installations dedicated to “the celebration and experience of enjoying ice cream”.

Guests can look forward to unlimited servings of ice cream treats that are given a local twist, including Pulut Hitam Potong ice cream, Lemon Bliss Balls, Apple Pie Soft Serve, Lychee Bandung and Taro Milk Tea ice cream sandwiches as well as other flavours such as Pina Colada.

MOIC's debut comes three months after the attraction first announced plans to set foot in Singapore, with weekend slots selling out almost immediately as soon as tickets went live.

Maryellis Bunn, co-founder and creative director of MOIC, said: “We have been looking forward to opening our first-ever international location for years, and we cannot be more thrilled to launch officially in Singapore today. Museum of Ice Cream was created for everyone to bring their imaginations to life and to forge lasting memories and meaningful connections, and we are excited to bring that magical experience to our guests in Singapore.”

Ticket sales to MOIC Singapore were released in limited quantities on its official website when the opening was first announced. Guests who secured these early-access ticket reservations will be entitled to exclusive perks.

Among the installations that guests can experience are a fully functional, Singapore-inspired “Dragon Playground”, a pink and yellow jungle with 10,000 bananas and of course, the iconic Museum of Ice Cream sprinkle pool—except it is the largest pool that they’ve ever created.

What’s an experience at the museum without actually enjoying the sweet treat? Visitors will be given five unique ice cream treats as they are guided through the 60 to 90-minute experience at the 60,000 square foot property.

To commemorate Singapore’s 56th birthday celebrations, MOIC will also unveil a variety of nostalgic childhood games and activities during its grand opening weekend from August 19 to 22. Take a trip down memory lane at Playspace, where guests can try their hands at traditional games like chapteh and five stones.

Guests can also visit the National Day Ice Cream Truck at the Craft Room and say hi to MOIC’s very own Mercone (which is part Merlion and part ice cream). Also available are unique merchandise created in collaboration with local brands as well as a Singapore Sling Boba Cocktail at the bar, for a limited period of time.

MOIC has also released more tickets till December and reservations can be made online.

MOIC opens daily from 10am to 11pm every day from Thursday to Sunday. Ticket prices start from $38, and children two years old and under enjoy complimentary entrance.
