Tucked away in a corner shophouse at Little India's Rowell Road is this achingly hip joint owned by the folks behind the Spa Esprit Group and 40 HANDS coffee. The savvy business partners took over a two-level shop-house and transformed the dilapidated upper level into a funky dancefloor and bar. Below is a restaurant and retail store where music lovers can purchase vinyls and CDs, and enjoy ‘carefully curated' electronic, alternative and hiphop music (wireless headphones are available).

The Broadcast St Louis-style ribs consist of meaty cuts of pork with natural marbling, cooked over a charcoal fire. You can request for two different sauces for the ribs - the sweet and tangy tamarind and maple syrup sauce which lends a welcome crisp and caramelised layer to the meat, or the rich miso and black pepper sauce which renders a thick layer of protection for the soft meat. Other meats to try include the fork-tender lamb rack which is pleasantly salty thanks to the vegemite glaze or the char-grilled chicken breast with golden brown skin, served with a yuzu dip. Presented on ‘opeh leaves', the mains are accompanied by a masala bean stew, crunchy Asian slaw, pickled cucumbers and a thick slice of bread.

The ‘snacks' consist of hearty carb-laden comfort fare which are great for sharing. Recommended are the claypot Louisiana dirty rice flavoured with lap cheong, shredded kaffir lime leaves, spring onions, ginger and dehydrated chicken skin, as well as the Crack and Cheese (macaroni topped with heaps  of cheese and bacon).

Although the list is small, the cocktails are pretty memorable. Sip the espresso martini which is one of the best in town. Or try the refreshing BC New York Sour.
