Veganburg

Tracing its roots in America, VeganBurg has been a smash hit ever since it landed in Singapore in 2010. A popular burger joint among vegans here, its mouth-watering menu breaks the stereotype of typical burgers and transforms them into 100 per cent plant-based goodness.

The Hainanese Chickenless Burg (a Singapore Special) is made with a home-seasoned and grilled soy protein patty filled with veggies and finished with a generous dollop of homemade chilli sauce, ginger sauce, and vegan dark chicken rice sauce. The Avocado Beetroot burger is its bestseller, containing GMO-free plant-protein patty with fresh avocado and garden veggies. If you’re feeling particularly green, you can opt for the lettuce wrap instead of wholemeal buns.

Try the crowd favourite Egg Mayo Sammie on their menu, crafted with Love Handle’s special egg mayo, lettuce, and fluffy buns. It gets better: it comes with a side of fries. Another eye-catcher is the Mushroom Swiss, consisting of plant-based cheddar, grilled oyster mushrooms, and Love Handle aioli. Yum.
