Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina makes her directorial debut with Malaysia Airlines' official in-flight safety video, 'Satu, Dua, Tiga, Jom!' that stars some well-known Malaysian faces

For the first time, Malaysia Airlines has partnered with award-winning actress and producer, Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina to make an in-flight safety briefing video unlike you’ve ever seen before. The video, titled Satu, Dua, Tiga, Jom! (or One, Two, Three, Let’s Go!) is a departure from the typical video briefing and features Malaysian Airlines' cabin crew alongside such local icons as national gymnast Farah Ann, Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 Francisca Luhong James and Dato' Seri Mazlan Othman, who are seen performing dance numbers in between various in-flight safety demonstrations.

Directed by Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim and Tiara herself, Satu, Dua, Tiga, Jom! was the result of three days of intense filming and months of post-production by a cast and crew of 150 homegrown talents.

“I received the call from Malaysia Airlines in October last year during the pandemic, when the entertainment industry was at its lowest and we as a country were feeling down and dispirited,” said Tiara. “I am so grateful that Malaysia Airlines has given Enfiniti and me this opportunity to bring together the world of Malaysian aviation and the world of performing arts and entertainment. I can’t wait for everyone to watch this and be excited to travel and embrace life again.”

Malaysia Airlines group chief marketing and customer experience officer Lau Yin May added: “As the national carrier, we have always strived to support our national heroes and brands through our extensive partnership in the fields of sports, CSR initiatives, performing arts, local businesses, and many more. Safety is of paramount importance for Malaysia Airlines, hence we are delighted to unveil Satu Dua Tiga, Jom! as an informative yet super catchy safety video embodying the very best of Malaysian culture, performing arts and, of course, our signature Malaysian hospitality.”

Malaysia Airlines passengers will be able to view a compact version of this refreshed safety video on board from August 2022 onwards; the full version will be available via the in-flight entertainment system.
