1. Chang Chui Plane Night Market

Fairly new to the night market scene, Chang Chui Plane Night Market has since established itself as a hotspot for teenagers due to its incredibly hip atmosphere. Chang Chui translates to ‘messy artisan’, a nod to the artsy individuals for whom the market was created. 

The iconic aeroplane (the real deal) attracts many photo ops from eager, excited visitors. The well-organised market has a more refined appearance compared to its senior, established counterparts. Expect to find a range of vintage goods and apparel, trendy boutiques, booze, live music and more at this jazzed-up night market.

2. Hua Mum Night Market

If you’re looking for a less touristy area to do your night market shopping and eating, then Hua Mum is where you should be. Located just outside the city centre, the lack of crowds means less squeezing and shoving. Perfect. 

Hua Mum offers a variety of things to see and do, including toy shops, quaint boutiques, and even barber shops for spontaneous individuals to get that fresh new cut. Well-loved Thai food such as rice noodle soup, mango glutinous rice, and more are abundant and sold by many vendors at the market.

3. Srinagarindra Train Night Market

This enormous, open-air night market is undoubtedly a popular hangout spot for locals and tourists alike. The unique atmosphere of the market comes alive on weekend evenings.

Teeming with locals looking to chill and relax, sit, eat, and mingle with them after tiring your legs out from walking around the mammoth market. Classic, retro, and vintage are the buzzwords for this market. Find anything from vintage shops selling art, handicraft and furniture to retro clothing, toys, and accessories.

4. Box Space Ratchayothin Night Market

Watch this space come to life at night as locals and tourists alike take to walking through its container shops. Located near the Chatuchak District, this easy find is filled with repurposed colourful containers. 

Box Space has three zones for visitors to roam: Market Zone (for stylish clothes), Plaza Zone (for food cravings), and Hangout Zone (for booze). It’s uber trendy atmosphere makes shopping at night all the more exciting.

5. Jodd Fairs

The newest kid on the block, Jodd Fairs is the reincarnation of Ratchada Train Night Market. Relocated from Ratchada to Rama 9, the night market still maintains its original nightlife shopping and street food hawkers it was known for in the past. 

What visitors can expect from this new and improved market is an increase in the number of food stalls. Look forward to delicious mala skewers and grilled beef among the whopping 600 food vendors. You can always burn off the extra calories you consume at the market's very own skate park. For the fashion crowd, look forward to streetwear, tie-dyes, and tartan shirts to spice up your wardrobe.

6. Asiatique The Riverfront

A blend of carnival and night party vibes, Asiatique is the place to be when the sun goes down in Bangkok. Once a trading port, it is now a popular night market by the Chao Praya River.

The old warehouses have since been restored and filled with antique shops, artisan crafts, and restaurants decorated with vintage artwork. The massive Ferris wheel sitting within the market offers 360-degree views of the Chao Praya River.

7. Mali Market

A lesser-known night market in the city, Mali Market is known for its many small food stalls and nice decor. The clean and spacious market is known as a gathering space for people looking for drinks or just to socialise. 

Home to trendy fashion, mouth-watering food, and cute trinkets, there is something for every shopper at this lively night market. Considerably less busy as compared to its well-known counterparts, you can have a nice evening stroll while munching on delicious food at Mali Market.

8. Chatuchak Friday Night Market

The largest market in Thailand is often on any traveller’s list, but not many know that the market is open at night once every week. Witness the popular night market in Thailand come to life at night only on Fridays.
