Strutting through the airport with one of these would be quite the flex. Belgian artist Wim Delvoye collaborated with skilled metalworkers from Isfahan, Iran, to turn Rimowa suitcases into intricate works of art. The elaborate designs are inspired by traditional Persian patterns, which hsve been painstakingly embossed on the brand’s signature aluminium suitcases.
Carved directly into the summit of Kileleoni Hill - the highest peak in the greater Maasai Mara ecosystem - stands Wild Hill. This architectural masterpiece, with its living grass roofs and stone sourced straight from the peak, is far more than a luxury estate- a physical crown of a historic environmental turnaround. A decade ago, skeptics said this land was too degraded, too intensely farmed, and too empty of wildlife to ever recover. But founders Tarquin and Lippa Wood partnered with local Maasai landowners to prove them wrong - using an unlikely tool: livestock. By trading fences for a single, holistically managed cattle herd, they mimicked the ancient, brief grazing patterns of wild herds. The short-grazed grass returned richer, the soil regenerated, and the apex predators followed. What started as a bean farm is now part of a thriving 45,000-acre fenceless wilderness corridor protected by 700 local families. The final chapter of @stregissg’s transformation has arrived in the form of its newly completed 335-square-metre Presidential Suite. An expansive expression of the hotel’s renewed aesthetic, the suite brings together contemporary luxury, considered details, and a sense of place inspired by the Singapore Botanic Gardens just steps away. The redesign takes a more thoughtful approach to indulgence, weaving technology and sustainability into the experience without compromising on comfort. From motion-sensor blinds and air-conditioning to an in-room tap dispensing hot and ambient drinking water, the suite reflects a quieter, more considered idea of modern luxury. Eco-composite flooring made with up to 50 per cent recycled material and refillable residential-sized bathroom amenities further extend the hotel’s commitment to more conscious hospitality. As the final piece of the hotel’s extensive transformation, the Presidential Suite offers a glimpse into a new chapter for one of Singapore’s longstanding luxury addresses.

At @clubmedsouthafrica, which opened this year, the days are designed to move with the landscape. By the coast, that means getting into the water at Club Med’s first-ever surf school, where experienced coaches help beginners find their balance and more confident surfers sharpen their technique. There is also time for sports, dining and entertainment, before the experience shifts inland for a safari among South Africa’s wildlife and expansive landscapes. The beach resort itself takes its cues from its surroundings and Zulu heritage, with natural materials, African woods and handcrafted details balanced by turquoise fabrics and graphic motifs. For those seeking a quieter retreat, the Ilanga Exclusive Collection places 66 suites within a more private enclave, with dedicated amenities and personalised services.
