The news was announced by Netflix shortly after the streaming site premiered season three of Bling Empire on October 5. While an official release date has yet to be set, we do know that we can likely expect it before the year ends and we are certainly amped up for it.

Bling Empire: New York is expected to adopt the style of Bling Empire in that it will follow a group of wealthy and sophisticated Asian Americans from New York City as they navigate high-society life, friendships and relationships.

For the spinoff, Netflix has roped in a diverse group of wealthy actors, models, influencers and entrepreneurs as we continue to delve into the lives of the rich and famous.

Below, we introduce you to all the cast members.

1. Stephen Hung

We kick off our list with Stephen Hung, the millionaire businessman who launched his own private investment firm, SH Capital Group, in 1992. He is also the vice-chairman of Rio Entertainment Group in Macau.

While he is a savvy entrepreneur, he unfortunately suffered major losses in 2018 when an ambitious hotel project of his, The 13, failed due to delays and overblown budgets.

The luxury hotel was expected to have 200 large suites, 24-hour butler services, a fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms and more.

2. Deborah Valdez-Hung

Originally from Mexico, Deborah Valdez-Hung is the glamorous and highly successful wife of Stephen Hung. Most of her wealth comes from a long modelling career as well as owning the Asian and European modelling agency, Dreamodels.

Her work puts her in the heart of the high fashion industry, which means you can typically spot her in the front row of fashion shows around the world and posing for photos with renowned designers.

Besides being a staple in the high fashion world, Huang is also a lawyer and businesswoman who travels the world on private jets and loves driving her hot pink Rolls-Royce which has a personalised car plate.

3. Dorothy Wang

Dorothy Wang is an entrepreneur whose resumé includes a jewellery line called Fabuluxe, and Rich and Bubbly, a champagne brand.

The bulk of her wealth is said to have come from her father, real estate developer Roger Wang, who is originally from Taiwan. Currently, he heads the real estate firm Golden Eagle International, which builds malls and office buildings in eastern China.

Wang was born and raised in glitzy Beverly Hills and attended the University of Southern California. She holds a real estate license and also runs a travel website where she gives readers travel tips.

Wang has also been on multiple reality shows before including Rich Kids of Beverly Hills and later, Famously Single.

She made her name on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, in which she appeared for all four seasons from 2014 to 2016. She starred alongside fellow Californian society children such as Morgan Stewart, Brendan Fitzpatrick, Jonny Drubel and Roxy Sowlaty.

5. Richard Chang

Richard Chang is another new face for many. The chief growth officer of Hudson Medical, a wellness and regenerative medicine company, stars in the show with his partner Vika, who will also be on the show.

The New York University alum was also the director of merchandise planning at Calvin Klein and a director at Hasten Beds.

Besides travelling and attending high-profile events, Chang is also a philanthropist and is in the midst of fundraising for Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research, a non-profit organisation.

6. Vika

Chang’s partner, Vika, whose last name is unknown, is next up on our list of cast members.

While not much is known about Vika, we do know that both she and Chang are paw-rents to a Scottish Fold Silver chinchilla and a dog; in fact, the chinchilla even has its own Instagram page.

She is also clearly a travel enthusiast and frequently travels with Chang. On the show, she will reportedly share more details about her relationship with Chang.

7. Lynn Ban

Singapore-born Lynn Ban, is a heavyweight in the jewellery industry. In 2011, the star launched her first fine jewellery collection with designs that featured motifs such as thorns, bullets, sickle blades and more.

Her collection was immediately a hit and was available at retailers such as Barneys, Maxfield, Dover Street Market, Net-a-porter and more. Her designs were also worn by celebrities such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.

Unfortunately, the pandemic forced her to take a step back and for a while, Ban focused on customised commissions for her private clients.

Now, Ban is relaunching her jewellery brand, a process that will reportedly play out on the Netflix show.

8. Blake Abbie

We end this list off with Blake Abbie, a fashion editor-turned-reality star who got his start as a photography assistant. Abbie is now the editor-at-large of A Magazine Curated By, an indie fashion magazine.
