Just launched by Omega, the Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer marks the debut of a Worldtimer within the Seamaster Planet Ocean line.
First seen in 2017 within the Aqua Terra 150M collection, the Worldtimer has long been recognised for its distinctive appeal. Now, with the arrival of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer, this horological complexity and refined design find a bold new expression in ceramic, presenting a fresh choice for the sophisticated traveller.
Taking cues from the Planet Ocean Deep Black, the 45.50 mm model is housed in brushed black ceramic [ZrO2], paired with a laser-engraved black ceramic bezel and a polished, high-gloss diving scale in relief.

The standout feature of any Omega Worldtimer lies at its core. The continents are meticulously engraved on a grade 5 titanium disc, with a North Pole perspective brought to life through laser engraving and layers of lacquer. The effect is intricate and refined, offering a compelling, near-sculptural portrait of Earth.
Encircling the miniature topography is a 24-hour ring denoting day and night, housed beneath a hesalite crystal. The outer edge of the dial is finished in black DLC and enhanced with a laser-engraved honeycomb motif, polished for added depth.

For this release, Omega introduces two striking variations. The first, in turquoise lacquer, features hands and hour markers treated with white Super-LumiNova, paired with a black rubber strap showcasing turquoise stitching and a folding clasp crafted from ceramic and ceramic-coated titanium. The second option presents a grey lacquer dial with Omega’s new grey Super-LumiNova detailing. This version retains the same black rubber strap, now finished with a grey inner lining.

Thanks to the Omega Planet Ocean Worldtimer’s miniature map, the wearer remains attuned to cities and time zones across the globe. The outer ring, engraved with destinations, includes Bienne in Switzerland—home to Omega—set at GMT+1.
Beneath the surface beats the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8938 automatic movement, a marvel of engineering visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback. With a water resistance rating of 60 bar (600m / 2000ft), this Worldtimer is engineered for serious underwater adventures, reaching depths previously unexplored.
