From a turquoise Royal Oak to a Bell & Ross bronze skull, it's a veritable visual feast in horology this month
It's the month of love, and if watches are what you love, these five new wristwatches deserve your attention and affection, offering everything from scintillating designs to robust mechanics. In anticipation of the Watches & Wonders watch fair this March, Piaget teases a new perpetual calendar in nature's favourite shade. Award-winning Chinese brand Ciga Design figure out a novel way to give one watch three different looks.

Meanwhile, Audemars Piguet just presented its series of new watches that include one striking yellow gold Royal Oak with turquoise dial. Read on for the full list of watches to covet in February 2023.

Yellow gold and turquoise make an incredibly stylish and modern combination, as evident in this Royal Oak. The precious turquoise was sourced from Mexico, and sandblasted and polished to a brilliant sheen to complement a yellow gold case, bezel, and bracelet. This is the first yellow gold 37mm Royal Oak since 2018 and is equipped with the new automatic Calibre 5900.

Ciga Design Series M Magician Mechanical Watch
Ciga Design is a fast-rising Chinese watch brand that was awarded the Challenge Watch Prize of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in 2021. In 2023, it charges forth with the introduction of the Series M Magician Mechanical Watch featuring an inner case that can accommodate bezels in three different shapes: square, round, and tonneau. To change the look of the watch with ease, it comes equipped with a flexible mechanical replacement mechanism.
The transparent dial reveals the CIGA Design Movement CD-03 in all its glory. The automatic version comes in a titanium and stainless steel case while the manual-winding comes in titanium in black DLC.

Bell & Ross BR01 Skull Bronze

The edgy skull motif that first appeared in 2009 in now crafted in bronze, its shape seamlessly incorporated into the manual BR-CAL.210 calibre. Turning the crown will move the skull, looking like it's sneering at your courage to disturb its slumber. Limited to 500 pieces, the case is also bronze, which will take on the patina of its wearer over time.

Oris Big Crown Calibre 473

Boasting a handsome blue dial, the new Big Crown with pointer date hand and small seconds counter boasts a whopping 120 hours of power reserve. This comes courtesy of the 10th movement created under the Oris Movement Creation Programme of producing original, high-performance calibres. Proving its mettle, the manual Calibre 473 also comes with elevated anti-magnetism as well as an unprecedented 10-year warranty.
The stainless steel case is paired with an olive brown strap crafted from sustainably sourced deer leather.
Piaget Polo Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin

With date, day, month and phases of the moon indicators, the perpetual calendar is one of the most practical complications, and Piaget, as befits its reputation as the master of ultra-thin watches, has now gone and produce a super slim version of it, the manual 1255P calibre. Along with the case, the watch measures a total of 8.65mm in height. It looks amazing too, complete with an emerald green dial decorated with gadroon pattern.
