Cover An evening of horological discoveries with MB&F

At this intimate gathering, watch enthusiasts explored and bonded over technical and fantastical time-telling creations from MB&F

Last Thursday evening, passers-by at Raffles Shopping Arcade may have noticed the elegant gathering taking place inside the MB&F Lab. Hosted by Tatler Singapore, the exclusive event brought together members of our community and passionate watch collectors for an intimate look at MB&F’s remarkable timepieces.

The world’s first MB&F Lab was the perfect setting for such an occasion. Part retail and gallery space, it showcases the brand’s horological creations, collaborative pieces, as well as curated kinetic and mechanical art pieces by artists from around the world. Young and old, watch lovers or not, this is a space for everyone to immerse themselves in the whimsical world of MB&F and haute horlogerie.

There were many standout pieces but one that caught many guests’ attention was the eye-catching three-dimensional sculpture titled Arachnophobia, which resembles a spider and features a clock that was engineered and manufactured by L’Epée 1839.

The conviviality was palpable throughout the event as guests spent the rest of the evening shopping and mingling with MB&F’s watch specialists inside the cosy 53 square metre boutique.
