Held in collaboration with Ion Orchard, the event gave Tatler GMT members and watch lovers an exclusive opportunity to peruse the latest luxury watches by A. Lange & Söhne, Roger Dubuis and Vacheron Constantin
When horology enthusiasts and watch collectors come together, it's always a captivating affair. The recent event hosted by Tatler GMT was certainly no exception, as it brought together a select group of connoisseurs and like-minded individuals to be immersed in the world of haute horlogerie.
Held in partnership with Ion Orchard, the evening treated attendees to an intimate exploration of three iconic watch brands in the mall—A. Lange & Söhne, Roger Dubuis, and Vacheron Constantin—each one renowned for their exquisite craftsmanship and innovative designs.
Tatler Singapore’s editor-in-chief Aun Koh, branded content director Dana Koh and Tatler GMT editor Annabel Tan helmed the evening’s events, leading the groups of invited guests to each boutique.

The first stop was A. Lange & Söhne, the German manufacturer best known for the intricate mechanics of its luxury timepieces. There, Charles Langlois, managing director of A. Lange & Söhne South East Asia and Australia, welcomed guests and shared some insights on the brand’s rich history and 179-year heritage. The star of the night was the Zeitwerk, the world’s first mechanical wristwatch which features a jumping numerals mechanism. Langlois delved deep into the technicalities of this trailblazing design and invited guests to try on and discover other timepieces up close. Each guest also took home an A. Lange & Sohne cleaning cloth, which were personalised with their own initials by on-site artists.

Next, our watch lovers moved on to Roger Dubuis where they were greeted by the Swiss watchmaker’s bold and avant-garde designs. After warmly welcoming everyone, retail director Aggie Wong took the opportunity to highlight some of Roger Dubuis’ key novelties of the season, such as the Excalibur Monotourbillon Titanium and Excalibur Monobalancier Blacklight, which feature the brand’s signature skeletonised movements. The atmosphere in the boutique was convivial, as guests eagerly explored the different collections and marveled at the exquisite pieces. While conversations continued to flow around the boutique, guests were also invited to try their hand at polishing a tourbillon cage replica with the help of the brand’s representatives. The best part? They each got to take home the polished piece as a unique memento of the evening.

The final stop was Vacheron Constantin, where the elegance and history of the esteemed Swiss brand were on full display. As guests admired the classic designs, Emily Tseng, Vacheron Constantin’s area manager, shared more about the Maison’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation that has spanned 269 years. She also unveiled a special suitcase showcasing some of the brand's most recent and popular novelties. The highlight of the collection was undoubtedly the new Overseas line, featuring sunburst green dials that made their debut at Watches & Wonders 2024. Captivated by vibrant olive-green hue, guests eagerly tried on the four new models: the 35 mm gemset, 41 mm date, 42.5 mm chronograph, and 41 mm dual time. As an added treat, leather artisans were also on-hand to craft personalised leather bag charms for each guest to take home.
From the intricate mechanics of A. Lange & Söhne to the bold artistry of Roger Dubuis and the timeless elegance of Vacheron Constantin, the evening was a celebration of the artistry and passion that define luxury watchmaking—giving horology enthusiasts the perfect opportunity to engage, exchange ideas, and revel in their shared love for timepieces.
