Cover Tatler GMT hosts an evening of discover with Hublot at Ion Orchard

Held in collaboration with Ion Orchard, Tatler GMT members spent the session perusing Hublot’s latest timepieces

On a balmy Tuesday night, the Hublot boutique at Ion Orchard came alive with lively chatter. Tatler GMT held an exclusive event for the watch enthusiasts in our community to discover the heart of some of Hublot’s most iconic collections: the Unico movement.

Tatler GMT editor Annabel Tan gave a warm welcome address, before taking our guests through the Maison’s in-house developed mechanism. “The Unico movement is a marvel of modern watchmaking, featuring a flyback chronograph function, a modular escapement, and bi-directional winding capabilities. It delivers an impressive 72-hour power reserve and showcases Hublot’s dedication to precision and performance,” she shared.

This calibre powers some of Hublot’s most renowned creations, including the Big Bang Unico and the avant-garde Square Bang Unico collections. Our esteemed watch club guests sipped on champagne and indulged in elegant canapés as Hublot brand representatives walked them through some of its exceptional pieces, launched earlier this year at Watches and Wonders. Highlights included the Square Bang Unico Magic Gold, limited to just 200 pieces, and the Square Bang Unico Ceramic Black Diamonds.
