Omega unveils new watches bearing the James Bond and Spectre symbols

Daniel Craig’s departure from the 007 movie franchise has not dampened enthusiasm for the next instalment, rumoured to be released in 2028. As we await the inevitable announcement of the new Bond, expected to happen by the end of this year, Omega builds anticipation with a new collection dedicated to the super spy.

Meet the new James Bond and Spectre Seamaster Diver 300M that are also presented in two limited-edition sets. First, the James Bond edition, crafted in stainless steel with a titanium bezel and a blue aluminium dial with a wave pattern. The rotor of Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 features the famous gun barrel motif.

The Spectre edition—clearly inspired by the 2015 film, Craig’s fourth appearance as Bond—comes in stainless steel with a black ceramic bezel ring and a dial in a black grained finish. On the caseback, you will discover the Spectre octopus emblem lending the rotor a sense of intrigue.

Both James Bond and Spectre editions come with a mesh bracelet, solidifying their sporty appeal.

Hardcore collectors may want to get their hands on one of the limited-edition sets, one each for either edition, if only to complete the collection they have built so carefully over the years.

The James Bond set comes with an additional platinum-gold model with the gun-barrel pattern on the dial. The Spectre set also comes with an additional platinum-gold model, but the dial is dark grey with the octopus symbol. Both models feature rotors executed in Moonshine Gold. Each set, limited to 77, comes with an additional Nato strap and strap-changing tool, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a leather travel pouch, and a card holder.
