Omega refreshes the Speedmaster 38 to resemble closer to the original Moonwatch
The Omega Speedmaster 38mm receives a facelift, replacing the horizontally stretched oval shape of its predecessors with round sub-dials. The bezel is also thicker, with the Dot-Over-Ninety, a design mark synonymous with the Moonwatch, a moniker that has stuck ever since Buzz Aldrin stepped on the surface of the Moon with a Speedmaster strapped to his wrist. It comes with a five-link bracelet, also a signature of the Moonwatch.
This brings the overall aesthetics of the mid-size Speedmaster closer to the original, an update that collectors will surely appreciate. The updates infuse the Speedmaster with a sportier character, a nod to its origin as a timepiece for motor racing.

The bi-colour models comprise steel and 18k Moonshine Gold with a silvery opaline dial, and steel and 18k Sedna gold with an ivory dial. The former features a green aluminium bezel and a yellow gold tachymeter scale. The latter stands out with a brown aluminium bezel and subdials.

Last but not least, two versions feature diamond-set bezels, in either a stunning ice blue or a sophisticated mother-of-pearl dial.
They are powered by the self-winding Co-Axial Calibre 3330 with a date function, except for the steel with a black dial, which is powered by Calibre 3332, also a Co-Axial movement but without the date.
