Tatler GMT Watch Club members were invited to meet the Ressence founder and CEO during his trip to Singapore

On a balmy Saturday afternoon, members of the Tatler GMT Watch Club streamed in to a private dining room at award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Peach Blossoms, located in Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay. They were welcomed by Benoît Mintiens, the founder and CEO of independent watch brand, Ressence, whom most of the invited guests had not met before.

Upon arrival, the watch enthusiasts were eager to speak to Mintiens, and for some, to try on a Ressence watch for the first time. The founder, who has a background in industrial design, had brought along two new Type 3 EE timepieces in a stunning Eucalyptus green that made their way around the room. One of these was Mintiens’s personal watch, which he generously encouraged guests to play with.

After an short welcome introduction by Tatler Singapore's editor-in-chief, Aun Koh, Mintiens shared a little about himself and his brand, before lunch was served. The excitement was palpable throughout the meal as club members enthusiastically discovered the Type 3 EE Eucalyptus and seized the opportunity to ask Minitiens any questions they had, before talking watches with each other.
