Cortina Watch's anniversary celebration continues with commemorative releases from two independent Swiss watchmakers—H. Moser & Cie. and Franck Muller. The former is honouring its exclusive retail partner in Southeast Asia with the Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton; only 10 pieces are produced.
Featuring a fully skeletonised automatic movement, it comes equipped with a one-minute flying tourbillon that beats in a concentric motion courtesy of the cylindrical hairspring. It makes the tourbillon spinning rather intriguing to watch but the in-house developed hairspring serves more that elevate the aesthetics—the Bregeut curves also reduce friction and improve isochronism. The beautifully constructed movement has a power reserve of 74 hours.
The case is a rich 18k red gold with slightly domed sapphire crystal. A sub-dial in fumé Funky Blue with Roman numerals tell the time. The crown is adorned with the letter "M" while the sapphire caseback is inscribed with the words, "Cortina Watch 50th Anniversary Since 1972".

Franck Muller has also chosen to highlight the tourbillon for Cortina's anniversary, but instead of one watch, it created an entire collection consisting of five stunning Vanguard Revolution 3 Skeleton watches.
The piece de resistance is the triple axis tourbillon featuring three tourbillon cages rotating at intervals of one, eight, and 60 minutes respectively—there are indicators flanking the tourbillon to track the progress of the one and eight-minute. This ultra complication possesses an impressive 10-hour power reserve.
