In celebration of the upcoming Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix and the return of the race to the Sepang circuit, here are five new watches created to match its speed and resilience
Formula 1 makes a highly anticipated return to Sepang after nine years. Officially known as the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, the race will be held here from October 2-4 following a last-minute agreement between Bahrain and Malaysia amid the volatile situation in the Middle East.
As the teams—most of which have never raced at Sepang, widely considered one of the best circuits in the world—prepare for this weekend's competition, here's a quick look at the new F1 timepieces.

Tag Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph 38mm
Unveiled at the Zandvoort circuit to mark the final Dutch GP, this vibrant Solargraph comes in 38mm sandblasted steel with a bright orange TH-Polylight bidirectional bezel and a matching rubber strap. The grey dial provides a striking contrast to the orange and red accents.
It is powered by the Solargraph movement, which harnesses natural and artificial light for a continuous source of energy. Limited to 1,500 pieces.

IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team
The Official Engineering Partner of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team is paying tribute to the Singapore GP happening next week with a new Pilot's chronograph in deep purple. The colour is inspired by Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid, bred in 1893 by Armenian-Singaporean horticulturist Agnes Joaquim. Crafted in titanium, this is the fourth team watch and will be worn by team members trackside.

Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team
This Navitimer was created to mark Breitling’s latest role as Official Watch Partner of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team earlier this year. Its design borrows various elements from Aston Martin, from the racing freen accents of the Aramco livery to the carbon fibre dial inspired by the cockpit of an F1 car. It is also the first Navitimer in titanium.
