Some days do not have to be so dry! Head to the game room and grab your controllers, Tatler lists all the hottest games you should not miss out on this year
The hype was all over the internet when in December 2020, Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore Private Limited (SIES) announced that the latest PlayStation model will finally be launched in the country together with some promising titles like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Demon's Souls.
All eyes are on the new PS5 for the right reasons; it is, after all, equipped with everything gamers wanted for its predecessor: a 4k gaming resolution, advanced haptics, speedy SSD, and an immersive 3D audio.
This year, although reports of PS5 shortage are rampant, the console arguably remains on top of many gamers' interest. Not only does it offer a brand new gaming experience, but it also supports the latest (and most sought-after) versions of the games we love—God of War, The Witcher, and more.
In case you missed it: Here's What You Need to Know About Sony's PS5
In the list below are all the titles you should not miss out on this 2022:
1. God of War: Ragnarok
Perhaps one of the most noticeable changes in God of War (2018) is Kratos' character. The game's previous titles have portrayed him as the hot-headed, stubborn war god who killed all of Olympus to avenge his family's death. In God of War, fans of the franchise were introduced to a calmer, wiser Kratos living in the mountain with his son Atreus. The gaming experience was made more interesting by Norse mythology characters like the Jörmungandr (World Serpent) and the goddess Freya.
The tale of father and son duo Kratos and Atreus continues in God of War Ragnarök. Now slightly older, Atreus seeks to discover more about himself and his giant mother Laufey the Just. One of the most interesting battles to watch out for is the one between Kratos and Thor, the God of Thunder.
Possible release date: Sometime in 2022.
2. Hogwarts Legacy
Raise your wands and be prepared to cast some spells! This year, Hogwarts opens its doors to a new batch of powerful wizards.
Hogwarts Legacy, which was developed by American-based Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros, is an action role-playing video game based on the Harry Potter novels and Fantastic Beasts film series.
Filled with immersive magic, this game promises to put players at the centre of their adventure. Choose a House, hone your abilities, brew potions, and ward off deadly enemies; this promising game is what every Potterhead's dreams are made of.
Possible release date: "Holiday" of 2022.

Filled with its usual enemies, it is now up to these characters to bring hope to the citizens, discipline to cops, and fear to criminals.
