A version update, classics remade, and new games coming off fresh from the rack—we list down five games available on iOS and Android you need to download on your device soon

1. Genshin Impact Version 2.5

Going live on February 16, the latest version update of Genshin Impact returns the spotlight to the Inazuma region. Travellers would be exploring again the sunken city of Enkanomiya but in a different realm covered with purple fog. The storyline also re-focuses on Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko, with the former being introduced as the game's new weekly boss and the latter being finally available in the event wish banner. During the version update program that premiered last weekend, news of the coming of the much-anticipated character Kamisato Ayato, and the opening of The Chasm in the world map were also released.

2. DC Heroes & Villains

Slated to arrive on the App Store and Google Play worldwide early this year, this new RPG is a superhero action puzzler featuring the heroes and villains of the DC comics. Here you can train iconic characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even Joker and Harley Quinn in your team and wipe out enemies throughout your missions. There will be different battle variations you can try. You can develop over 35 legendary DC characters and unlock multiple abilities.

3. Valorant Mobile

Since its launch in 2020, Valorant has attracted a large number of PC gamers and streamers worldwide. This first-person shooter (FPS) game lets you play in a team of five players with the objective of winning 13 rounds. Each player will choose an agent, depending on the skills and abilities they prefer, and a specific role in the team's composition. Tactical and slow-paced, this game will put you at the edge of your seat. Its immense success and popularity might have made its creators Riot Games announce during its first anniversary that a mobile version of the game is coming this year. So far there is no exact release date yet.

4. Diablo Immortal

Currently available for pre-registration on Google Play, this mobile-exclusive MMORPG is a brand new game set between the events of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo: III. Being now an MMORPG, players can explore together the nightmarish realm of Sanctuary and complete epic quests in the midst of the endless war between angels and demons over the dominion of the mortal realm. Players can choose between Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, and Wizard and gain abilities, gear items, and weapons along the way.

5. Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis

For years, Square Enix has been remastering the classic Final Fantasy franchise to make it available for iOS and Android players. The huge success of the original Final Fantasy VII in 1997 made its creators develop what is collectively known as "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII". It is a subseries, comprising of new games, animated features, and short stories, based on the world and continuity of the original game. This 2022, the single-player RPG Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is expected to arrive on Google Play and App Store, retelling the events of the previously released games in the compilation and adding new narrative material.
