Who: Valentino

What: VLogo (V)accinated hoodie in partnership with Cloney

Why: Tongue in cheek, chic, and for a good cause? There are many reasons to love Valentino’s latest drop, but we’re loving it simply because it’s the perfect anathema to our pandemic-riddled lives. The VLogo “Vaccinated” hoodie, created in collaboration with Internet sensation Cloney, is a hilarious take on the brand’s instantly recognisable logo and combines our penchant for loungewear with a touch of humour. What’s more: all revenues from the sale of the hoodie will be donated to UNICEF in support of the organisation’s delivery role in the global COVAX Program.

“Getting vaccinated has become the most effective way to fight this global pandemic, as well as a symbol of respect for others and social responsibility. One cannot hide behind the concept of freedom by deciding not to get vaccinated. Freedom must always be protected, and we must all fight for freedom but respecting others: the freedom to be ourselves, the freedom of thought, the freedom of love, the freedom to express and fight for our own ideas. Unfortunately, not all countries have equal access to Covid-19 vaccines. With this collaboration, Valentino supports UNICEF in the delivery efforts of life-saving Covid-19 vaccines,” says Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
