From dazzling high jewellery to elaborate red carpet looks, find out who stole the show at this year's Christmas ball

It's the most wonderful (and stylish!) time of the year. One of the most anticipated events of the Malaysian social calendar, the annual Tatler Ball returned to usher in the festive season on December 2. The theme for this year's charity gala at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur was 'White Christmas'. The Tatler community pulled out all the stops, crafting meticulous ensembles and selecting only the best jewellery and watches from luxury brands especially the red carpet jeweller itself, Chopard.

As the premium sponsor of the ball, Chopard watches and jewellery elevated the looks of some of our most stylish guests, including Asia's Most Stylish 2022 honouree Yvette Kang and Asia's Most Influential 2021 honouree Lee Jim Leng, both of whom wore their personal high jewellery pieces from the brand.

From Ung Yiu-Lin and Roshan Valiram's beautiful all-white, snowy ensembles to Elizabeth Lee's gold dress inspired by the star on top of the Christmas tree, these ladies understood the assignment and dazzled on the red carpet. One of the most innovative looks of the night was Lee Jim Leng's bright red Celest Thoi gown with a detachable skirt to go into party mode and dance the night away. She paired it with gorgeous Chopard jewellery set with sparkling diamonds.

The men were not afraid of the spotlight at Tatler Ball, putting their own spin to classic suits by incorporating velvet and loud prints. A special shout-out goes to Nazreem Musa, who prepared for an outfit change, arriving first in a custom Brian Khoo tuxedo dress with a delightful reinvention of the traditional cummerbund into a bowed sash, before changing into a party-ready neon yellow suit, also by Brian Khoo.
