A brilliant marriage of creativity, Sandro’s latest collaboration with French artist and textile designer Louis Barthélemy is the perfect lesson in cultural studies
Over the most darling Moroccan-inspired canapés and refreshing mint teas, Tatler Singapore’s Branded Content Editor Adriel Chiun introduced Sandro’s latest capsule collection with French artist and textile designer Louis Barthélemy to an intimate group of Tatler’s community members—which included sartorial supernovas like Calista Cuaca and Chen Yixin.
The love child of two creative minds, Sandro’s founder and artistic director Evelyne Chétrite’s collaboration with Barthélemy birthed a capsule collection—with Singapore as its debut—also saw the Sandro boutique at The Shoppes at MBS being transformed to resemble a beautiful Bedouin tent complete with textural rugs and the plushest throws for its reveal.

Inspired by Chétrite’s youth in Rabat, Morocco, Barthélemy breathed an even newer life into the beloved French house of Sandro by creating exciting pieces that boasted incredible versatility and levity. Akin to wearable frescos, our Branded Content Editor especially loved the prints of quiet Moroccan life that look like the paintings of Moroccan painter Mohamed Ben Ali R’bati coming to life.
Warm and sultry, the energy this capsule collection exudes is perfect for the modern jet-setter. And at once modern and elegant and rich in cultural wealth, these pieces are great for one’s next great summer adventure—especially when paired with another of our Branded Content Editor’s favourite: Sandro’s hand-embroidered Kasbah bags. A true reflection of incredible craftsmanship, the allure of this capsule collection is definitely apparent for anyone who appreciates fantastic style.
