Hanya

In the spirit of Merdeka, Hanya announces upcoming collaboration with fellow homegrown brand Machino to release an adorable collection of shoes to stomp into the new month. It will be released on September 1.

The dUck Group
The dUck Group partners with 14 local artists from Art Battalion to release a limited-edition collection of satin silk scarves to celebrate Merdeka. Each design is inspired by Malaysian states and adorned with a hanging silver charm. As part of this collaboration, Art Battalion's artwork will also be on full display in dUck's flagship store in Bangsar Village.
There are also ready-to-wear offerings, including knitted cardigans in five designs, each paying tribute to the different regions around Malaysia.
Futuremade Studio x Against Lab
Two homegrown streetwear labels, FTMD. and Against Lab, are partnering to release 'Pearl of Orient' 604 Collection. Paying homage to Penang island, the collection consists of shirts, headwear and accessories depicting nostalgic elements. Highlights include the noughties-inspired 604 Trucker Cap, Batu Ferringhi Shirt featuring a print of iconic Penang monuments, such as the Komtar Tower and the Penang Hill funicular railway.
To shop this collection in time for Merdeka, check out their pop-up at Jetty35 in George Town, Penang on Augus 27-28. It will also launch online on September 6.

Batik Boutique
There's nothing Malaysians love more than food. Batik Boutique celebrates our favourite past time with its adorable Nasi Lemak collection, featuring the instantly-recognisable bungkus packaging as a print on shirts, totes, pouches and their signature triangular Ketupat bag.
Paul&Shark
For the first time, Paul&Shark is launching a limited capsule collection with polo shirts featuring the Malaysian flag with the brand's shark icon. As seen on Malaysian fashion designer and influencer Emran Rijal, the shirts come in the four striking colours of our national flag: blue, red, yellow, and white.
