Celebrate the wonder of Filipino craftsmanship at MaArte Fair 2024

First held in 2009, MaArte Fair returns to the Peninsula Manila Hotel themed around Fab Finds—which aims to shed light on the Philippines’ endangered fauna, such as the Philippine Eagle, tamaraw, crocodile, sea turtle and tarsier. A follow-through of last year’s fair—‘Full Bloom’, which focused on the beautiful flora of the country—MaArte Fair 2024 promises an even bigger event as it expands in two new locations at the hotel and extends its duration to four days.

With 147 exhibitors offering a wide array of Filipino artisanal products such as apparel, bags, accessories, pottery and plenty more, there’s really something for everyone. A handful of fair regulars and newcomers such as Viña Romero, Joey de Castro Pottery, Rica Rico, Earl Gariando, Puey Quiñones, Vara, Kit Silver, Rurungan Collective, Repamana, Raja Watches Co, and Henry Wee Fernandez, among plenty others will be gracing the event.

Alongside the fair, the Museum Foundation also promises little activities sprinkled throughout the affair. “There will be some side events during the four days, aside from the fair. We won’t spoil it for now, but there will be some surprises that will keep you engaged,” says Ma Belen Fernando, a board member of the Museum Foundation.

As the Museum Foundation’s annual flagship fundraising event, The MaArte Fair’s proceeds will go to projects of the National Museum of the Philippines and other museum communities across the country.

MaArte Fair 2024 Fab Finds is located on the 9th and 5th floors of the Peninsula Manila Hotel in the Rigodon Ballroom, Garcia Villa, and Balagtas rooms, as well as The Conservatory and the Upper Lobby. The fair runs from August 29 to September 1.
