Tatler’s Little Luxury Stars: Salon des Petites turned the luxury children’s precinct at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands into a celebration of confidence, couture and creativity—culminating in a heart-to-heart with Tatler Asia’s Most Stylish alumna Willabelle Ong and her daughter, Ava Eleanor
After the first weekend of whimsical Halloween adventures, Little Luxury Stars 2025 returned to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands for a second act that was less trick-or-treat, more tulle and tailoring. Salon des Petites invited Tatler families to discover how personal style and self-expression can shape a child’s confidence, with every boutique in the luxury children’s precinct transformed into a space for imagination and artistry.

Hosted once again by Tatler’s resident fashion monster Adriel Chiun, Day 3 began with a charming series of interactive ateliers designed to nurture creativity through craft and play. At Burberry Kids, children had their portraits sketched by caricature artists amid the house’s heritage checks—a lesson in seeing themselves through a lens of artistry. Over at Moodytiger, little hands stitched and knotted their own Dumpling Bag keychains, a tactile reminder that even the smallest accessory can be an act of self-expression. And at Baby Dior, balloon sculptors brought whimsy to life—bows, animals and hearts floating like couture dreams above delighted faces.

The day’s highlight unfolded at Young Versace, where Adriel Chiun hosted Style Speak: Raising Style, a spirited conversation with Willabelle Ong—Tatler Asia’s Most Stylish alumna, artist, entrepreneur and Singapore’s hardest working digital creative—and her precocious three-year-old daughter, Ava Eleanor. Set against Versace’s gilded interiors, the talk explored how fashion can foster self-belief from a young age. Raising Style was not merely a dialogue about dressing well, but a reflection on how children learn to articulate identity, independence and imagination through what they wear. It was about nurturing not just future style icons, but confident little individuals who see clothing as a language of joy and authenticity.
“Style is one of the earliest ways a child learns to make decisions,” said Willabelle with her signature poise. “I try to honour Ava’s choices—even when she insists on pastels or anything ‘princessy’. Today she picked this gold rococo Versace dress herself. She told me, ‘Mummy, I want to sparkle like you.’ And how could I say no?”

Between giggles and hugs (read: Ava had just woken from a power nap), mother and daughter embodied the theme of Salon des Petites: that confidence begins with being seen, heard and celebrated. As Chiun noted, “Couture may clothe the body, but confidence dresses the spirit—and that’s what Little Luxury Stars has always been about.”
After a mini photo session capturing the day’s radiant young participants, Tatler families left inspired by the reminder that style is more than what children wear—it’s how they learn to see themselves. Salon des Petites beautifully underscored The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands’ commitment to curating the world’s finest fashion houses for its luxury children’s precinct, continuing Tatler’s tradition of celebrating family, confidence and couture in perfect harmony.
