Tatler has rounded up Mirror’s Jer Lau’s most stylish looks over the years, ahead of his concert on November 30 at AsiaWorld-Arena

Jer Lau, the lead vocalist from Hong Kong boy band Mirror is one of the city’s hottest idols right now. A talented singer who’s often praised for his exceptional great and unique voice, he’s also a style maven to watch in the local entertainment scene alongside the other Mirror members—Frankie Chan, Alton Wong, Lokman Yeung, Stanley Yau, Anson Kong, Ian Chan, Anson Lo, Jeremy Lee, Edan Lui, Keung To and Tiger Yau—always dressed to the nines on stage or when off-duty.

We’ve compiled a list of our favourite looks worn by the rising star over the past few years. From cool suit ensembles to bold tonal outfits, he surely knows how to make heads turn with his stylish fashion choices.

In his recent Instagram post, Jer served classic preppy look with elan. His hairstyle accentuates the look beautifully.

2. Regal in floral

In this floral jacket, Jer is serving regal, glamorous and romantic vibes. It’s almost making us think of Bridgerton, are you?

3. Statement suit looks

Jer isn’t afraid of experimenting with standout fashion, and this look is just one of the many examples of it. Steering away from the traditional suit silhouette, he opted for a relaxed-fitting piece that features a unique gradient palette of grey and dark purple-blue. Complimenting the modern suit look were simple accessories and his signature long curly hairstyle. Gorgeous.

4. Tonal dressing

Another sartorial triumph with a bold suit look. Here, Jer rocks the tonal dressing style by wearing a blazer and suit pants in the same beige hue from head to toe, looking fashionable without trying too hard. We also love the way he keeps things interesting by opting for a suit in an unconventional texture.

5. Sharp in tracksuits

Tracksuits are being hailed as the outerwear trend of the fall/winter season, and Jer already knows. He delivered a memorable look in off-duty style, styling a colourful tracksuit with black pants and boots that make his casual outfits appear as compelling as his formal wardrobe. The baseball cap added a touch of style to his outfit, too.

6. Colorful sweaters

Playful, relaxed and luxurious—this look describes Jer’s style in a nutshell. Pairing a colourful sweater with a classic logo-print tote bag from Saint Laurent, he looked perfectly sleek in the outfit he wore for the fashion house’s men spring/summer 2022 show campaign.

7. Cool hats

Few celebrities have nailed hats styling better than Jer, who was spotted wearing a wide black hat in the music video for his solo song Black Lights Story (迴光物語). The accessory is proof of the singer’s virtuosity at turning the simplest of looks into a fashion statement with attention to detail.

8. Cosy up in hoodies

Hoodies are a versatile choice and a timeless staple for any stylish man’s wardrobe, and Jer pulls it off like no one else could, demonstrating his ability to turn a simple outfit into fashion perfection. From the oversized glasses to the classic Converse sneakers and a crossbody bag that he wore for Ferragamo’s fashion pop-up, he knows how to accessorise his looks in order to impress.
