The Italian fashion brand drops its first Gucci Pet collection comprising apparel, pet accessories and travel carriers
After dressing models in stylish chokers and harnesses, Gucci now wants to do the same for cats and dogs. Enter the Gucci Pet collection, the Italian luxury brand’s answer to high fashion for your furry friends.
Pet accessories like collars, harnesses and leashes have now been Gucci-fied with the brand’s signature design elements—think the red-and-green Web stripe and the GG canvas that are found on Gucci handbags, or the house’s toile de Jouy pattern, Herbarium.
The latter graced the Gucci Lifestyle line, which launched last year with an array of distinctive homeware designs. Gucci Pet picks up on that thread to offer made-to-order mini couches for your canines or felines to lounge in, as well as stylish feeding bowls and mats in various prints and designs that certainly won’t look out of place in house that’s filled with Gucci Decor.
