Discover the fashion pieces that define the season, from Coddington’s playfully imagined travel sets to Bvlgari’s radiant craftsmanship and Max Mara’s modern romanticism
This season’s collections reveal a world in motion—one shaped by whimsy, craft and a renewed sense of imagination across fashion’s most storied houses. Grace Coddington sends her feline muses on a globe-trotting adventure for Louis Vuitton, reimagining the House’s spirit of travel with wit and wonder. Bvlgari turns to high-craft brilliance, transforming its icons into sculptural bags that shimmer like jewellery. Max Mara looks to John Singer Sargent, infusing painterly elegance into everyday dressing, while Gucci introduces a sneaker built for forward movement. Closer to home, Univers and Carl Jan Cruz continue their dynamic exploration of Filipino craft through volume, texture and play.

Ease and opulence: Max Mara

For pre-fall 2025, Max Mara channels the world of John Singer Sargent, whose portraits captured the individuality of Gilded Age society. Bows sketched in loose strokes, sharp peplums and floral prints lend whimsy to jackets, trenches and playsuits. The palette expands from ivory and black to lush emerald, echoing late-summer gardens. A sweetheart bodice nods to Sargent’s Madame X, rounding out a collection that balances elegance with ease, special pieces made to be worn every day.
Shift in motion: Gucci

First seen at the Cruise 2026 show in Florence last May, Gucci introduces the Shift sneaker—a lightweight design that redefines movement with ease. Anchored by the House’s signature Web stripe, the sneaker plays with proportion and texture. Women’s variations combine mesh GG fabric, suede and delicate gold accents, while men’s editions lean into stitched Web motifs, leather finishes and a maxi-logo outsole. Available in an array of refined neutral tones, the shoes embody the House’s forward-looking approach to everyday style.

For their second collaboration, Univers and Carl Jan Cruz continue their dialogue on contemporary Filipino dressing with a capsule rooted in craft and experimentation. Volume and versatility define the silhouettes, from balloon trousers and double-bubble saya skirts to reversible blouses and trapeze dresses. With convertible details, textured finishes and layered palettes, the collection embraces Cruz’s ease-with-subversion ethos: garments designed to move, evolve and play with the wearer.
By grace: Louis Vuitton x Grace Coddington

Grace Coddington’s cats—Blondie, Blanket and Jimi—are once again at the heart of her latest collaboration with Louis Vuitton. Following the 2019 Catogram, Coddington reimagines the House’s travel spirit through her feline muses, who journey everywhere from London and Sydney to the Amazon and the Great Wall of China. For the Louis Vuitton Travels With collection, she designs a wardrobe of lightweight, practical pieces alongside foldable nylon bags, vintage-inspired canvas accessories and a new secretary trunk fitted with her own essentials.
Design alchemy: Bvlgari

Bvlgari’s spring-summer 2026 leather goods & accessories collection, High Craft, celebrates the Maison’s mastery of jewellery-inspired leather artistry through modern yet timeless design. Under Mary Katrantzou’s creative direction, signature icons—Serpenti, Divas’ Dream and Tubogas—are reimagined as sculptural works of wearable art. Among the season’s most dazzling highlights, the Serpenti Forever Top Handle and Day-to-Night bags radiate with the “Fireworks Crystals” workmanship, set with over 8,000 rhinestones that shimmer in nine hues. Centred on the gleaming snakehead closure, these creations embody Bvlgari’s Roman audacity, translating light and high-jewellery brilliance into quality craftsmanship.
