Singaporean music star Stefanie Sun was in the spotlight this week—not at a concert, as you’d expect, but at Bottega Veneta’s fall-winter 2023 fashion show in Beijing.
Sun arrived wearing a bold blue blouse, with half of its buttons casually undone, and a pair of flowing trousers. Her outfit was sophisticated and effortless—a hallmark of the Bottega Veneta look that has been fine-tuned by the brand’s designer, Matthieu Blazy. Previously, en-route to Beijing, Sun was also spotted wearing Bottega Veneta: she accessorised her look with the Cobble bag, featuring the brand’s signature intrecciato woven leather.

The Mandopop icon was just one of several Asian celebrities who attended Bottega Veneta’s Beijing runway show, which was held at the Red Brick Art Museum. Bottega Veneta is no stranger to China: the Italian luxury fashion brand took over part of the Great Wall to stage a public art installation in 2022, and this year it marked the Lunar New Year with a month-long train ride journey around China.
At its fall-winter 2023 presentation in Beijing, the front row included the likes of Chinese actress Angelababy, Thai actor Dew Jirawat of F4 Thailand fame, Anita actress Louise Wong and Taiwanese star Austin Lin. The special guests wore their Bottega Veneta looks well: Angelababy completed her preppy ensemble of a grey blazer, white tank and pleated miniskirt with knee-high leather boots, while Dew drew from the ‘70s when styling his suit with a camp collar knit.
